As’Salaamu Alaykunna wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

Indeed all Praise is due Allah azza wa jal. We seek His Forgiveness, His Aid, His Guidance, His Grace, and His Mercy. Whomsoever Allah ta’ala guides none can misguide him, and whomsoever Allah ta’ala misguides there is no one who can guide him. We bear witness there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah azza wa jal having no partners. And we bear witness that Muhammad ibn Abdillah sallallahu alayhe wa sallam is His slave and messenger.

OUR MISSION

The mission of Covered Gems is to assist, educate, and provide resources for our noble sisters in Al-Islam based upon Dawah-tu-Salafiyyah. As women, we all carry a heavy load in fulfilling our duties as slaves of Allah subhana wa ta’ala, wife, daughter, mother, and trusted companion. Although we have the most perfect examples in the lives of Ummahat ul-Muʾminīn and the Sahabiyyat (radiyallah anhumma), we still may become overwhelmed with the tests that Allah ta’ ala has decreed for us. Allah subhana wa ta’ala stated in His Glorious Book (translated to mean):

“Do people then think they will be left alone upon saying, “We believe in Allaah,” and they will not be faced with fitnah? And verily we put those who came before them to trials, so that Allaah would make known those who have been truthful, and so that Allaah would make known the liars:. (Surah Ankaboot, ayat 2-3)

and

“Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits of your toil, but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere.” (Surah Baqarah, ayat 155)

As sisters in Al-Islam it is our collective obligation to aid and call one another to that which will benefit our dunya and akhirah. From the seasoned sister to the new shahadah the trials we face are many – studying, raising children, marriage, wearing hijab, home-schooling, employment, and living in the land of the kuffar – the list is endless. Masha’Allah ta’ala it is with this in mind that Covered Gems was established. Inhsa’Allah azza wa jal these are just a few of the resources we plan to offer:

We ask Allah Jalla Jalaluhu to guide us and purify our intentions for His Sake Alone, and accept our humble efforts, Aameen. We ask that Allah Azza wa Jal grant us humility, preservance, and tawfeeq, and make all of us amongst His righteous and obedient slaves. Allahumma Ameen.
